Chalet Caribou - Montchavin, Dort 10-12 (L'hiver)

Chalet Caribou is modern in style, layout and design to effectively blend in with the village's look and feel of the resort. Like its sister chalets Lievre Blanc and Hermine, it offers stunning, continuous views across Montchavin, the Tarentaise Valley and Mont Blanc.

The main difference with Chalet Caribou is its large terrace making it an ideal space to relax on with a pre-dinner drink after a day’s skiing before heading inside the cosy living area for your 4-course dinner: you can actually almost ski-in onto the terrace: it is that close to the piste!

Caribou offers 5 modern ensuite twin or double bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 guests. The 'family' room on the first floor contains a twin/double bed and bunk bed which is separated into two semi-private sleeping areas by the large bathroom. It is not only ideal for familys and young adults but also a cost-effective solution for big adults who want to stay in a luxury chalet but need to stick to a budget.

Caribou also benefits from a private roof top 7-man hot tub to relax and unwind in with extra towels included, just like Chalet Lievre Blanc.

The open-plan living area features a large open fire which can be closed with a glass door if children are staying. There are two TVs (1 in the living area and 1 on the top floor 'den' area so kids can watch their favourite programmes while you can relax and watch a film after dinner.

With the tele-cabin to Les Coches and Evolution 2 Ski school and equipment hire shop less than a minute's walk away, Caribou is perfectly placed to explore the Paradiski domain (La Plagne and Les Arcs) with minimal fuss.

Caribou suits skiers and boarders of all skill levels with green runs accessed via the tele-cabin to Les Coches which is a few metres away!

Summer Season

Chalet Caribou is available to rent during summer season on a self-catered basis as Montchavin is immensely popular with cyclists, hikers, adventurers and explorers and acts as a stylish place to enjoy everything Savoie has to offer. Incredible activities to sample include quad-biking, paragliding, river rafting and parcours. Evolution 2 opposite the chalet can organise your itinerary easily and efficiently.

Montchavin, La Plagne

Montchavin is a pretty alpine village typical of the region and it's central street is a mere couple of minutes' walk away where you can browse the souvenir shops, eat at the local patisserie or its many restaurants, sip a drink or three at one of the late night bars and even watcha movie at the cinema. You can also enjoy the spa or swimming pool complex which is situated just a few hundred metres from the chalet.

The local slopes are tree-lined and has proved to be an exhilarating place to be when there is a white out! As you go higher, you can access the slopes of Belle Plagne, Bellecote Glacier and Roche de Mio where you will find slopes to suit all levels.
